Verb conjugation of "boost" in English

My brother moved there last year. He met a woman and went after her. After six years they have broken up, but he no longer wanted to return, because he has settled down in his new home. I am visiting him once a year.
The differences between Italian and Spanish are very small. But I see that you speak Spanish better than I speak English. It is still far from perfect, but that is already a start.
I am glad that you accepted my offer. I would like to write letters and emails in English and if you want you can write back to me in German. I want to correct your German and so we will both get better.
