Verb conjugation of "compactar" in Spanish

I ordered a cab at four o'clock in the morning which took me to the Central Bus Station. I was much to early because the bus would go just at seven o'clock. Anyway I was sitting there and listening to music.
Now I needed to decide where to go next and I decided to use the information that the girl gave me. I went back into town to the central station and booked a night bus to a place called Palenque.
We woke up around one hour before arriving and got off the train once it arrived at its destination. We checked in for our last night in the same hotel very early in the morning after having coffee of course.
