I learned English when I was a kid, because we've always been in England during summer vacation, since my grandma used to live there when she was still alive. Sometimes I visit Vocabulix to meet new people. It is true that one could do the same on Facebook, but the FB page is rather for friends, and you are less likely to contact strangers for this purpose. I do not like London, my home is in southern England, and there is a lot of work there too. A lot of people are moving to London just for work. I've been here for 10 years and I am studying chemistry. |
