Verb conjugation of "hämmern" in German

The current situation in Libya is really difficult. I tried to get in contact with acquaintances, but all the phones were not working. I'm really concerned about their well-being. I'll try again later.
I have began to learn English. I like to swim and to dive, because I lived near the beach while I lived in Miami. It is not similar to any other sport. But this week have not been yet to the pool.
