Verb conjugation of "strip" in English

Now I just got scared! Have I missed my own son's birthday? Luckily it is on the 19.08, exactly in a month. Man, you confused me now. Anyway, we had a great time in the mountains and the snow was great.
We have learned that some tenses, such as Present Tense are easier and not as complex as others. Is that right? In my opinion, tenses in English are much easier than in the Spanish language.
I can already speak a little English but not too well. So I'm more cautious about making mistakes. I want to improve my English, because it is also good for your confidence and communication skills.
