 | We arrived at my Casa, a private home with an extra place that the family rented. I sat down and they gave me a drink. They explained me that they wanted me to stay at another house for some reason. I even put on my Poncho, a plastic rain coat, in order to protect myself from the aircon-breeze. Somehow I managed to fall asleep and woke up at around six in the morning when we approach Palenque. I called the Hilton hotel in Cuba and asked them whether it was worth coming or if they suggest to postpone the arrival. Their response was clear: Don't come unless you really have too. |
