 | There were no lights on the highway and hardly any cars, but quiet a few motorcycles and funnily pedestrians walking on the emergency lane. There was a tropical atmosphere in the air, I liked it. I still needed to get to the traveler's agent nearby to book my flight back to Cancun. I gave myself two more days to stay in the region, as I wanted to make sure that the hurricane was over. Luckily the town was small and the hotel manager could call all taxi stations. They checked it through their radios and an hour later the driver was back with our bags. He did not want to be paid extra, but I insisted. |
