All travel agents, but one, were all pritty unreliable as one could perceive immediately. We did not care for a dollar more or less and everybody promised the same which was not convincing.
The memorial consisted of a small museum and monument which was displaying skulls of civil war victims. It was sad, brutal and scary. It is certainly not the place were you would take tourist on day one.
The next day we decided to spend on the other side of the mountain range (antiplano), in Bolivia. We didn't have the courage to drive deep into Bolivia, as everyone told us about the bad infrastructure and condition there. |
