The earlier you go to the top of the mountains the fewer people are on the slopes. I love the sound of the ski-lifts and seeing the villages disappear in the distance while I move up to the mountains.
Dinner was a little strange. I was sitting as a guest at the dinner table but somehow I felt very uncomfortable. I felt that everything was staged for me. I sensed that this family was not used to having guests.
I rarely heard someone speaking so bad about his nation, but again, it wasn't my business. We closed the lights at midnight and hoped for a few hours of sleep. The train shaked and threw us around in our beds. |
