In the coming morning we were picked up to do a day tour in the Mekong Delta. It included several stops all around the river bed and the delta of this huge river. The first station were floating villages.
A flew hours later we landed in Siem Reap. The land around us was amazingly green and the weather was very humid. We were still in shock while driving into the city center with our driver.
The town on the other side of the border is called Arica. You immediately see the difference to Peru. Fast food chains, brand names and modern stores appear all over the city. |
