At around two o'clock we arrived at the main attraction. It was the Angkor Wat itself. An amazing view captured our eyes when we entered the gates and saw this wonderful palace in front of us.
The different monuments were located in one big compound in the center. Strangely on the same day that we have visited there the prime minister of Thailand came for a visit in the same area.
At Pisac we visited its 'once certainly authentic', 'today completely touristic' market. We enjoyed it anyway, ate fresh corncobs and bought a warm wool hat. |
