In addition, two woman were singing songs taken from Vietnamese theater. Again, I don't exactly recall what it was all about, but it seems boring and unimportant from today's point of view. The city seemed to be small but busy and many building were new. It looked like a third world country village with four and five star hotels. The infrastructure was still bad, but one could see development. We had decided to fly to Lima (instead of Buenos Aires, Argentina) and to visit Machu Picchu just a few weeks before leaving Europe. |
