The airport was huge, compared to Siem Reap's one, of course. We expected something similar to Bangkok's airfield but it was completely different. We stood in line for the passport control.
Anyway, the entire bus ride lasted four hours and we finally arrived at the city of Halong. We were supposed to take a two day luxury boat tour on a ship called The Lagoon Explorer.
the crowded buses, the various colors and the amount of casinos on the way simply amazed us. We were told that Lima is not the safest place, so that we decided to stay just one night, before continuing to Cuzco. |
