One of the most difficult problems I have (and I am sure that others have it too) is getting used to the superficiality of the life in the US. To be superficial means to me not to be able to recognize. I told them that in Europe not everything was perfect. I told them that there were also very dark times in that continent and that even in peaceful times live was not always easy as they had thought.
