At noon we drove back to the tiny airport near the city and a few moments later we were already in the skies. The flight to Saigon, today's name Ho Chi Minh city, lasted more or less one hour.
The first thing he wanted to show us was a war memorial for Cambodia's civil war. The war has ended only few years earlier and was still very present in the mind of the entire population.
Breakfast was really nice, since the hotel had a nice buffet and good coffee. We than went to look for a car rental service to get a car for the day. We wanted to drive around the lakes region. |
