When we landed in Ho Chi Minh city I immediately perceived that the building, houses and structures in the airport had a Russian or a communist influence: large, concrete, grey buildings all over.
Our first station was a temple from which one could see the sunset in the best way, as it was a on hill leaning westwards. It was a walk uphill of more than thirty minutes and quite steep.
The road was a really horrible, but the lakes and the surrounding woods were colorful and impressive. We drove for two hours through the forest towards San Martin de los Andes, but decided to turn back before it got dark.
