When we landed in Ho Chi Minh city I immediately perceived that the building, houses and structures in the airport had a Russian or a communist influence: large, concrete, grey buildings all over. It was so packed and it looked like a heap of ants climbing the temple. I would estimate that there were about a thousand people simultaneously climbing the temple which was not very big. Fortunately and against all odds there were seats available so that we changed our booking to the same day. Our destination was El Calafate in the South of Patagonia in order to see the glaciers. |
