On the drive into the city center we were a little shocked by the amount of motorcycles, by the pollution and stress in that city. After only two days in a small village we forgot how it was. In the end we decided to try something new, and although we are not great "fans" of South East Asia, we agreed on going to Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and if there would be enough time Hong Kong. Lunch was given at a family-run restaurant back in the valley. The headaches disappeared once were were back at 2000 meters. From there we continued to the Salar, a salt lake, mostly arid. |
