 | Today the spring really showed itself. It was over eighteen degrees and people started wearing nice and with T-shirts. Snow has melted and the temperature is steady. I can't wait for the summer.
I even put on my Poncho, a plastic rain coat, in order to protect myself from the aircon-breeze. Somehow I managed to fall asleep and woke up at around six in the morning when we approach Palenque.
I had to get used to riding the bike and I almost fell a few times. I drove on the main road and stopped at several little villages near the beach. The locals were very friendly and welcoming. |
