Thank you for writting back so quickly. I learned English when I was a kid, because we've always been in England during summer vacation, since my grandma used to live there when she was still alive. I had never heard the phrase before. In America, there are also different idioms than here in England. It seems that the Americans say it differently than we do here in the United Kingdom. I live right next to Montpellier, in a small town near the coast, in France. I have no children and I'm learning Spanish because I like foreign languages. I learn vocabulary and grammar.
