Once the rain stopped we continued to visit some other sites within the city, among them a popular Pagoda, which was not in the center. We took a cab there and enjoyed this beautiful place of worship. We drove to the next spot exactly at noon. We were told that this spot would not be crowded at all during the lunch hour and we were not surprised to find it completely empty without anyone else. On the other side of the mountain range were the lake region and Bariloche. Argentina had a completely different atmosphere. People were not as calm as in Chile, and it reminded me of Italy. |
