There are about fifty families who are having very tight connections. Too tight in my opinion. It's like a small town in this aspect. Joanna though is very satisfied with the place and the atmosphere. I even put on my Poncho, a plastic rain coat, in order to protect myself from the aircon-breeze. Somehow I managed to fall asleep and woke up at around six in the morning when we approach Palenque. Actually, three hours was enough to get the impression of Macau. It had many narrow streets and some parts reminded us of a Mediterranean village. One can really see the charming Portuguese influence. |
