We started the next day with the famous breakfast at our famous Rex hotel. The breakfast was not good at all and they tried to mimic an American continental breakfast, instead of using typical food.
I went out to buy some food near the hotel. There were no supermarkets around and no food stores. The only thing I could find was a bakery with mass produced cookies imported from China.
The American girls came with T-shirt and sandals, not exactly the right equipment for a trip 5000 meter over sea level and minus 10 degrees outside temperature during the day. Anyway, the landscape was fantastic.
