Translation of Scotch in German

Sometimes you forget one word and this makes the entire sentence sound differently. That means that you need to read each email before sending it twice at least if you want to be on the safe side every time.
My name is Wolfgang, and I am interested to build my Spanish vocabulary. Maybe we can practice together. How long have you learned Spanish? I have been learning for a few years with books.
My grandchildren live in Switzerland, in Zurich, in the state of Zurich. In August I'm going to go back to Switzerland and I was hoping that I could learn to speak a little German by then.
