All sorts of people were sitting in the restaurant, locals as well as foreigners. One could see that the city had some modern places too and that it was not the Vietnam we had imagined.
In the autumn of 2006 we flew to South East Asia in order to travel in the region for three weeks. Our first stop was Bangkok airport, where we arrived in the middle of the night, around 4a.m.
The hill was not close to the village and we did not have a lot of water with us, so that we were happy when a Brazilian couple took us closer in their rented Jeep. We walked a little further. |
