All sorts of people were sitting in the restaurant, locals as well as foreigners. One could see that the city had some modern places too and that it was not the Vietnam we had imagined. Nevertheless, I agreed to go there and check it out. It looked much better than the one that we booked in advance and we decided to stay there for two nights. It had a great pool and we were welcomed with drinks. Lunch was given at a family-run restaurant back in the valley. The headaches disappeared once were were back at 2000 meters. From there we continued to the Salar, a salt lake, mostly arid. |
