This site was one of the country's most famous places as Tomb Rider with Angelina Jolie was filmed there. It was built like a pyramid with many stairs and little towers. The place was called Angkor Thom. We had a great first impression of the people in Cambodia. We were expecting that people would like to take advantage of us but it wasn't the case at all. Our driver for example was very kind. The road was a really horrible, but the lakes and the surrounding woods were colorful and impressive. We drove for two hours through the forest towards San Martin de los Andes, but decided to turn back before it got dark.
