His name was Leo and he would become a good friend of mine during the next two weeks. He had a lovely girlfriend where he stayed during my visit. Basically, I slept in his place when he was away. I walked down the main street of the town and soon found out that there was a nice place not far from the main square. It cost around two hundred pesos which was equivalent to twenty US Dollars. I chose a room in the center of town. I went to the northern beach of the island which was supposedly the most beautiful one. There were many young tourist lying in the sand but I still felt foreign.
