Translation of Dirne

In this poem there is not any movement, it is only a snapshot of life, it means it is a picture, almost dead, as there is no movement at all. And this is the reason why the poem seems to be calming.
In my next message to you I want to write everything in German. Than I will rewrite it in English and we can compare the output. This way you see the text in your mother tongue and in a foreign language.
Swimming in the open water was refreshing and fun and some of us jumped of the roof of the boat into the deep waters. After another snack break the four of us were invited for a Kayak excursion.
