Translation of steeple in German

I know it is a little confusing. The problem is if the original word is a conjugated verb: I skipped them until now. I did not write it in my explanations. It actually must be skipped. Thanks for noticing.
There are many mountains and lakes in our district in the central Switzerland. I'm married and we have a son named Joe, he is 2 years old. I have worked as an engineer at the Swiss Federal Railways.
Should I call him in August? Will he know who I am? I hope that we will return to Italy in October, then we may take a coffee or a beer together, or we can even go to eat something small.
