Although I put my wallet in the front pocket of my pants it was not there. I had been so diverted by the aggressiveness of these kids that I did not feel it when they grabbed it out of my pocket.
I interpret this as follows: It reflects the calm life without any hectic atmosphere. The life that these two are looking for (like they did before) is far away: Far away, beyond the river.
On the way we visited many small hill tribe villages. The walk was through green, wet rice fields. We really enjoyed it. Our guide explained us about the region and taught us some Vietnamese. |
