We decided to fly directly to Hanoi and booked a flight for the same day. Before we left we still had some time to visit the War Remnants Museum. One could see the former headquarters of the South.
Banteay Srey was beautiful. It was a very small temple but it had a lot of detail in it. Simathay explained everything. He was truly a great tour guide and we were happy that we had met him.
We had never seen a similar landscape. The lagoons had different kind of colors, blue, white, green and red. They were all surrounded by rocky, dark volcanoes making the entire landscape surreal. |
