German Dictionary

I.E. stands for 'in example', and the translation of it is 'por ejemplo'. Is there a difference between this term in Latin American or South American Spanish? How would you say the same sentence in Central America?
In South American we speak normal Spanish, but sometimes it sounds like music and not as you are used to it from the school books and video tutorials from the language schools that you have learned in Guatemala.
