There were no lights on the highway and hardly any cars, but quiet a few motorcycles and funnily pedestrians walking on the emergency lane. There was a tropical atmosphere in the air, I liked it.
When I finally arrived at my destination I still had the task of finding an accommodation. As my acquaintances where with me we started looking together, however we discovered that we were not on the same budget.
On the way back I visited a private beach resort. I just wanted to see whether I could get in and it was not a problem at all. The resort belonged to some club on the main land near Cancun.
