The first day in a new place is always a little strange. One has to get used to the new environment. I believe that the more someone tries to adapt the faster he gets used to new spots and new people.
Dinner was a little strange. I was sitting as a guest at the dinner table but somehow I felt very uncomfortable. I felt that everything was staged for me. I sensed that this family was not used to having guests.
I made plans to visit a surfing contest with a girl that I have met on the first day. We agreed to meet at ten in the morning at her place. I couldn't keep my eyes open and decided to quit.
