At noon we drove back to the tiny airport near the city and a few moments later we were already in the skies. The flight to Saigon, today's name Ho Chi Minh city, lasted more or less one hour.
Due to jet lag (for us it was 10p.m.) we could not sleep, so we stayed at the airport until the morning where we had to take a flight around 8a.m. The destination was Siem Reap in Cambodia.
At around 6pm. we were back at the Chilean border and we were happy to change cars (to the mini bus again) and seeing a paved road. It took us another hour to get back to our hotel.
