My mom and dad used to speak English when they wanted to say something I shouldn't understand. In this way I have learned English. I did not tell them till late, but I did understand every word they said.
If I look at dictionaries they do not give long sentences, only specific words and their meaning when they are used in a compounded form, which by the way can mean something totally different than when used by themselves.
It's very good that you can learn English with the help of technology (Internet), I think you'll learn quickly. Although I am now getting better, I feel the improvement. But once again I lack vocabulary.
