We could not believe how difficult it was to find a decent room in this four star hotel. I went to the reception desk and complained about our room and about the attitude and bad service.
In the end we decided to try something new, and although we are not great "fans" of South East Asia, we agreed on going to Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and if there would be enough time Hong Kong.
At the third or fourth guesthouse we finally took a room. Of course the hot water would not work, and luckily we were upgraded to a terrific, huge room with balcony and garden. It was a very charming place.
