We were indeed the only ones there so we took our time and enjoyed the moment. A little later we ate lunch which consisted of the snacks we had brought and a coconut. It was only one o'clock.
We drove to the next spot exactly at noon. We were told that this spot would not be crowded at all during the lunch hour and we were not surprised to find it completely empty without anyone else.
In Colorado there are amazing mountains, belonging to the Rocky Mountains and in New Mexico you have the really gorgeous desert areas. Some other states there have also large desert areas.
